Kingdom Two Crowns is a game about managing resources, developing kingdoms, and using strategies. Together with Marco Bancale, Thomas Van Den Berg created this game with the cooperation of the publisher, Raw Fury. The game’s release date for operating systems like Linux, OS X, and Microsoft Windows was October 21st, 2015.
On August 8, 2016, a new Xbox One version was then released. On January 31, 2017, the Android and iOS versions were released, and on September 14, 2017, the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions.
What is the game about?
The game’s pixel art is based on a 2D landscape, and the player controls a queen or king who rides back and forth while collecting coins to spend on various resources like hiring weaponsmiths and soldiers or building a defence against creatures that can attack and steal the king’s crown, which will enable them to win the game and further their kingdom’s boundaries. Additionally, the player has little control over the game and is required to spend every coin they earn in different ways.
Gameplay
Players have been given access to a kingdom in the form of pixel art, a 2D screen on which they can build and expand their kingdom while fending off various enemies who try to take their character and player’s crowns, thereby putting an end to the rule. A randomly generated queen or king on horseback can be used as the player’s starting position in the game.
Without taking any direct action, the player can also move characters on horses to the left or the right, like at any gallop. The user has the option to ride across landmarks as the character passes them while also producing some coins to spend on various supplies. As the character approaches the coin slots, they will likewise be marked with same information.
